Years ago, when we first started this blog, we profiled Benjamin X Caplan, an artist and writer coming to us from Toronto.  The years since have been busy for Ben, who has been moving between Toronto and New York, working as a Scenic Artist, and continuing to push forward with his paintings and illustrations.

He recently started a new site, bwxcaplan.com, to promote his art and to put out his most recent ambitious project.  Every day for a Year Benjamin forced himself to come up with three original ideas. The ideas could be for any field or medium, and most importantly, they didn’t have to be good. Some are beautiful, many are hilarious, and the sheer scope of the list is almost frightening.

Every day Benjamin posts another of his ideas, along with his art, thoughts, and when he’s allowed, images of the often strange jobs he works as a scenic artist.  Visit and follow his blog, and you may walk away with more than just a chuckle.
