Petite Crevette is one of those surprising places that will quickly become the deadly bullet in your arsenal of dining experiences. You will slowly create excuses to bring all of your favorite people to enjoy this place. A great place to dine on succulent and subtly layered seafood cooked in impeccably creative and beautifully presented French traditional style. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the ambiance is far better than any other place I’ve found here. It feels quiet, European, and reminiscent of some of the private dining establishments in Paris that are invitation only, hidden away amidst cobble stone streets. It is BYOB, though the wine bar next door, The Flying Lobster, also has an excellent list, and is well worth a visit before or after a meal. Everything I’ve ordered there has been an aesthetic culinary experience, and the specials change frequently, so there are many chances to savor new types of decadent tastes. The whole fish (I tried the Porgy, but there are other fish available as well – Branzino, Dorado, and Red Snapper) was the belle of the underwater ball: soft, succulent, and memorable.
